20” rear wheel trikes are great for people who need low gears. Good for touring with heavy loads, great in hilly areas, good on tracks and traiils and roads, smaller in overall size, smaller to store and transport and good for riders who have reduced cycling power due to ability to have lower gears.

26” rear wheel trikes give good high gears ideal for road and trail cycling. They have a good range of tyres available to them from off road to racing specs. Larger wheels can hold speed a better on rough surfaces and are better in flatter areas.

Adventure HD trikes are available in rigid, rear and full suspension builds. Rigid trikes are light, have good power transfer, are less complex and are cheaper and are ideal for smooth trails and roads.

Our suspension system uses elastomers to give you over 100mm of rear wheel travel and up to 40mm of front suspension travel. Rear Suspension is a tuneable, simple, robust, a single pivot suspension system giving you a smooth ride over rough terrain. Full Suspension reduces the vibration from rough road surfaces and takes the "edge" off larger impacts on the front wheels.

The ICE Adventure HD is available with or without electric assist. Shimano STEPS is available in two E-Assist motor systems:

The NEW EP8 system uses a powerful 250w electric motor, custom-designed ICE specific forged motor housing, 85Nm torque, 630Wh battery, custom display mount and Bluetooth connectivity. The EP8 system is more powerful, lighter in weight and is more user-controllable than the E6100 system.

The E6100 system uses a powerful 250w electric motor, 60Nm torque, 504Wh battery and Bluetooth connectivity. Great for general trike riding as it is the most cost effective E-Assist system from ICE.

The ICE Adventure HD is available with four different gearing types. The Enviolo Automatiq Hub gearing system works with the Shimano STEPS system to give you fully automatic stepless gearing. The Rohloff 14 Speed Hub which gives you a good gear range, the ability to change gear while not pedalling, low maintenance and it is very reliable. The Alfine 8 Hub gearing system has around the same gear range as a standard 9 speed derailleur. Derailleur gears are lighter, cheaper and more efficient than hub gears. They are also used by those who are looking to ride faster. They are available in different options, to suit the conditions you expect to ride your trike in.

The ICE Adventure HD  is available with two different seat options: The Ergo-Luxe seat is the most comfortable trike seat on the market and the most comfortable you will ever sit on. Beautifully designed to provide the ultimate level of comfort and back support. Breathable fabrics maximise airflow, the tension in the back can be easily adjusted. The Ergo-Flow seat has been designed to provide optimum back support, it is lightweight and breathable which is ideal for warmer climates. Breathable fabrics maximise airflow and cooling. Cushioning in the base and side bolsters further enhances riding comfort. Both seats are 2" (50mm) wider and deeper than the Adventure seats. They both feature a handy top weather-sealed pocket for storing small items such as keys and phones and reflective detailing keeps you visible at night.

ICE Trikes as standard come with the braking and gearing controls fitted to both handlebars. Optional single-handed controls help riders who have limited use or no use of one hand or arm to ride. You can specify controls are fitted to either the left or right handlebars. This enables the trike to be safely controlled from either side.

We also have a short crank chainset available for riders with shorter legs or with knee or hip issues which is 152mm rather than the more standard 170mm. The short cranks reduce the size of the circle that your foot tracks through the pedal rotation and by doing this they reduce the range of angles that your knees and hips go through.

The Adventure HD is available with optional comfort packs and accessories: The on the road pack includes all you need to get on the road: a Rear mudguard, Shimano XT SPD touring pedals, Mirror and ICE flag. A Neck rest provides extra comfort and support to your neck while riding. Wrist rests are designed to comfortably and stylishly support the rider's wrists while riding your trike. Ideal for long journeys and riders with limited grip or strength.
