Friday 20^th June is Employee Ownership Day 2025, and we are smiling a little brighter than usual. Why? Because this year’s theme, EO Smile, feels especially close to our hearts.

At Inspired Cycle Engineering, we believe smiles are at the centre of everything we do. Our purpose we put a smile on people’s faces through Inspired Cycle Engineering, drives every decision we make, every trike we design, and every experience we help create.

But what makes us smile just as much as seeing someone ride an ICE trike for the first time? The knowledge that we are part of something bigger: an employee-owned business that gives us a real say in how we work, grow, and build a future together.

Smiles Powered by Purpose

We are proud to be an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). That means ICE is not owned by a single person or shareholder group, it is owned by all of us. That shared ownership brings a sense of pride, responsibility, and care that is hard to describe; but you can see it in the way we collaborate, support each other, and work towards something meaningful.

It puts smiles on our faces every day. Not just because we get to do what we love but because we do it together.

Engineering Joy

Every ICE trike is a little piece of engineering joy and built to bring freedom, fun, and comfort to riders all over the world. From the first sketch to the final ride, we know that what we make has the power to change lives. That is a huge part of why being employee-owned matters: we are invested in the outcome, not just the output.

We care because it is ours - our trikes, our business, our future.

Celebrating EO Day

On EO Day 2025, we are celebrating:

• The smiles we share as a team, knowing our voices matter.
• The smiles we create for our customers, who feel the joy of riding an ICE trike.
• A smile for our global dealer partners and those who share in our mission to get more people out riding and smiles on faces!
• The smiles we bring to our community, through thoughtful design, local impact, and sustainable practices.

To celebrate EO Day this year, we have fired up our BBQ and got all the colleagues out to enjoy the sunshine. We had everything you could want - pop, pups, music, babies and glorious weather! Everyone loved it and we spent time sharing thoughts over business activity, why we like being employee owned, and who had the hottest sauce on their burger!
