The NEW handcycle is available in two distinct e-assist models, the Adventure HD Handcycle and the Sprint X Tour Handcycle*. Featuring all the core benefits of the iconic trike models, now in a handcycle. 

The handcycles features an innovative folding entry system that allows for super-easy rider transfer, adjustable pedalling position, and a small turning radius compared to other handcycles. Both models include EP801 motor systems, rear suspension, push-button electronic Nexus Inter 5E Di2 hub gearing and they even fold for easy transport. 

Both models are ideal for road, trail and active sports use with their high to medium ground clearance, ride capabilities with indirect steering for natural and intuitive handling from the very first ride. 

Our engineers have created an innovative folding entry system that allows the entire steering and pedals to simply fold forward at the push of a handle. Riders can easily transfer in and out of the handcycle from a wheelchair alongside, without the need for complicated and difficult maneuvers. Once seated, the rider simply pulls back on the handle and locks the system using one control knob. That's it, you're ready to roll.

The pedal position can be adjusted forwards or backwards without the need for tools, allowing the rider to easily set the pedals/cranks in the position that best suits their needs. This can be done at anytime. 

Both the Adventure HD and Sprint X Tour* Handcycle models are designed to deliver exceptional manoeuvrability, benefiting from a tighter turning circle than many other types of handcycles. This allows riders to navigate narrow paths, woodland trails and more complex routes with greater ease and confidence.

The world-famous ICE Trikes indirect steering system, combined with no-brake steer geometry, enhances control and precision, ensuring that steering remains smooth and stable even during tighter turns or longer rides. The result is an agile, responsive, comfortable and active riding experience. 

The Compact Flat Twist fold is one of the many innovations that ICE has brought to the recumbent world. The fold is based around a lightweight heat-treated aluminium hinge on the main frame. Meaning the Handcycle can be easily folded for transporting in a car and for storing your trike. No tools required.

Simply push the handcyle pedals forward to the entry position, remove the seat, and undo the main quick release lever to fold the frame. As the frame folds, the rear wheel pivots to fit flat between the front wheels. The fold allows the handcycle to be folded in under 30 seconds and works with ICE accessories.

The ICE Handcycle is available with the Shimano EP801 Cargo E-Bike motor system. All the power you need at just the right time. Responsive, quiet, lightweight and controllable. Featuring a powerful 250w electric motor, 85Nm torque and 630Wh battery. Choose between Boost, Trail, Eco and intelligent Walk modes. Supports assist level up to 25 km/h or 20mph, depending on regional regulations.

The Nexus Inter 5e is an internal hub gearing system that provides manual and fully automatic electronic gear changing at the push of a button. It offers a wide 263% gear range and is engineered specifically for the high pedaling forces of electric bikes.

The Handcycle features easy-to-use, ergonomically designed controls. Gearing is controlled either fully automatically or manually using the electronic push buttons. Braking is controlled using the brake levers fitted to both or single sides of the handlebars and uses powerful Sturmey Archer 90mm black drum brakes.

The rider's feet are supported and restrained using the adjustable footrests and straps. A quick-release lever enables easy adjustment of the footrests to allow for different height riders. Additional frame and side pads allow for extra cushioning and support where needed.

The Ergo-Flow Handcycle seat has been designed to provide optimum support. It is lightweight and breathable which is ideal for warmer climates and active cycling. Featuring a more upright riding position suited to handcycling, the seat is also adjustable, offering four different seat angle positions. Breathable fabrics maximise airflow and cooling. Additional cushioning in the base and side bolsters further enhances riding comfort and support. All seats feature a handy top weather-sealed pocket for storing small items such as keys and phones.
